UVP Biospectrum Imaging System
The UVP BiospectrumAC imaging System is a low light and fluorescence imaging system with a light-tight construction that makes it ideal for chemiluminescent applications. This system comprises an easy-access darkroom with a slide-out UV transilluminator, overhead Epi light in white, UV, and blue, and interchangeable filters. Samples are set on a UV transilluminator for ultraviolet excitation and can be used with a chemi-tray to place chemiluminescent blots.
The Imaging System is a high-resolution chemiluminescent gel imager with built-in lighting and a light-tight darkroom. Above the darkroom is a CCD camera, controlled by the Visionworks software, which also controls other system elements, such as lighting settings, the emission filter wheel, and image capture. The first-light UV illuminator features a phosphor coating for exceptional uniformity and less than 5% coefficient of variance.
