The ACS climatic chamber for light transmission testing evaluates the overall performance of solar buildings, i.e. façade elements with integrated modules that generate electricity or heat using solar technology. If the solar photovoltaic modules are integrated and therefore work well at lower temperatures, in order to maximize the total energy balance, it is possible, by carrying out the appropriate tests, to study how the integrated solar collectors change the temperature profile and the energy flow through the wall, and to see whether the addition of insulation improves the efficiency of the collectors or the composition of the wall material.
The software for such test chambers is an application program that includes all the functionality based on the specifications required by the customer.
